YEHILEVSKY, Gloria
Dubbed a 'visionary' by the San Diego Troubadour, Gloria Yehilevsky is a London-based composer, percussionist, producer, and researcher championing collaborative and transdisciplinary music. She co-directed "Dreamerfly, and other stories," an evening-length performance combining animation and original jazz commissioned by the Herbert Art Gallery & Museum. She performed with the San Diego Symphony and World Percussion Group, won the Italy PAS International Vibraphone competition and PAS/Armand Zildjian Percussion Scholarship, and is a Musical Merit protégé. Recent and upcoming appearances include Zaratan (PT), Flatpack Festival (UK), Universitatea de Vest din Timișoara (ROM), Transplanted Roots (US), and Centrala Space (UK). Her duo "Minister of Loneliness," co-created with Chinese animator Shiyi Li, was invited to the PGVIM International Symposium (TH). She serves as Associate Editor of Percussive Notes and holds an MMus with distinction from Royal Birmingham Conservatoire.
