Larisa Vrhc is a Slovenian composer and pedagogue (born 1967 in Ljubljana). She graduated from the Academy of Music in Ljubljana in 1990 with a degree in music pedagogy, and in 1993 with a degree in composition (class of Marijan Gabrijelčič). In 1991, she received the Prešeren Student Award. She perfected her composition skills in Salzburg (Mozarteum), Geneva and Paris.
With her compositions, she successfully participates in many competitions of contemporary classical music. At the Faculty of Arts, University of Ljubljana, she is an assistant professor at the Department of Musicology.
