After graduating from the Music School in Litija (piano), she continued her education at the Secondary Music and Ballet School in Ljubljana and graduated from the Department of Music Theory. She continued her studies at the Academy of Music in Ljubljana at the Department of Composition and Music Theory (mentor Prof. Pavel Mihelčič) and at the Department of Conducting (mentor Prof. Milivoj Šurbek). In 2010, she graduated from the Department of Composition and Music Theory with an excellent grade and a special mention (summa cum laude), and in 2012 from the Department of Conducting, also with distinction. Her compositional opus includes works in the field of orchestral, chamber, solo and vocal music, and she also writes arrangements for all ensembles and genres.
Her works (Five as One for Double Bass Quintet, chamber opera Lost Smile, Trumpet Dance for symphony orchestra, In the Birch Grove – MD7, self-singing Semafori života and Dolina, Scherzo altro for wind orchestra, Aldebaran and Thorn in the Heel for tamburitza orchestra, Cumulus – KOS Chamber Orchestra, Suite for brass ensemble, Tribučko kolo for mixed choir and tamburitza orchestra, A Simple Song for mixed choir, When You Will Come – for Slovenian Octet, Hamal for horn and trombone, There Is Always A Scapegoat for trombone quartet, Arcturus for flute/oboe/clarinet/saxophone and piano, Holy White Day for cello and double bass octet,...) have been performed in the Czech Republic and abroad, as part of various concert cycles and competitions (Youth to Youth, Subscription Concerts of the Academy of Music, Subscription Concerts of Celjski dom, Unicum, Kogojevi Days, Night of Slovenian Composers, International Tamburitza Festival in Osijek, International Tamburitza Festival "Bisernica Janika Balaža", International Competition EMONA, TEMSIG, National Competition of Tamburitza Groups and Orchestras of Slovenia).
She is also active as a conductor; During her studies, she conducted the Wind Orchestra of the Academy of Music, and for eleven years she led the Šmartno Tamburitza Orchestra. With him, she won two silver and five gold awards at state competitions. She has twice received a bronze award at the International Tamburitza Festival in Osijek for a novelty written for tamburitza orchestra, and she participates in seminars for this type of music several times as a mentor.
Since 2010, she has been a member of the Society of Slovenian Composers, which is also its publisher.
She is a member of the expert committee for music of the Festival of Slovenian Patriotic Song "Mother Homeland", where she also actively works as an arranger and conductor.
As part of the Public Fund of the Republic of Slovenia for Cultural Activities, she acts as a co-mentor of the Slovenian Tamburitza Orchestra project. She is a lecturer at various seminars for tamburitza music and the head of the tamburitza study group at the Institute of Education.
From 2013 to 2015, she was an assistant at the Department of Music Theory at the Academy of Music in Ljubljana.
Since 2010 she has been teaching solfeggio and chamber music at the Conservatory of Music and Ballet in Ljubljana.
