Signe Lidén is an artist whose work often explores themes of place and long-term observation. She is a member of the artist initiative Pavilion, which focuses on place as an artistic process. Lidén has been involved in several projects, including the ongoing "DOKK project," which encompasses installations and performances.
Her past exhibitions and projects include "KOMPASS," an exhibition at Trafo Kunsthall developed with Ellen Røed, and "Vannbåren/Waterborne" at Østfold Kunstnersenter, a sound installation utilizing field recordings. Lidén also created "The Tidal Sense," a BBC radio feature and a sound sculpture commissioned by LIAF 2019. Her artistic research has involved extensive listening practices and critical reflection on sensing technologies, as seen in the project "Networks of Circatidal Earth Bodies."
