Born in London, my family is from Cork in Southern Ireland. I studied piano and singing at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. I'm a composer, pianist, singer and lyricist. My work includes composing the music for the critically acclaimed opera The Secret Garden and playing solo piano at Ronnie Scotts Jazz Club. Commissions include a choral work to commemorate the Battle of Lewes 1264 for male choir and medieval instruments. I've recorded 3 CDs and various sound tracks. I'm particularly drawn to compose for voices, my dramatic choral work The Phoenix Cantata is composed for 3 choirs and soloists. Showcases of excerpts have been performed in the UK and Amsterdam with plans in progress for the full production.
