Hollie Buhagiar is a multi award-winning Gibraltarian composer and acclaimed vocalist based in London, who specialises in crafting bespoke scores for film, TV and Theatre. Throughout her career she has been hailed for her distinct sonic palette and ability to create fascinating, high-concept scores that often feature her vocal work. Graduating from Leeds College of Music with first-class honours in Music production, she then went on to complete a Masters at the prestigious National Film and Television School. This past year has seen the release of Hollie's latest work 'Royal Kill List', airing on Sky and Now TV, the show stars some of Britain's leading A-list actors including Joseph Fiennes ("Shakespeare in Love"), Jared Harris ("Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows") and Sheila Atim ("The Woman King"). Her soundtrack is a key driving force within the series and the female voice takes a powerful centre stage. Her score for 'Royal Kill List' was recently nominated by The Music+Sound Awards as a finalist for Best Original Composition in Film and TV Titles. 2024 has also brought a BAFTA Cymru nomination for'The Date' a gorgeous coming of age drama that she had the pleasure of scoring. Hollie's vocals can be heard most recently across BBC’s 'Doctor Who' and popular Netflix shows 'Bodies' and 'Elite'. She is an extremely accomplished vocalist, having had the honour of performing at the Royal Albert Hall this summer as a soloist in the BBC Proms.
