Romanian pianist, singer, and composer, born in Vienna, Austria. In her youth, Asachi (nee Teyber), was taught by her father - Austrian composer Anton Teyber. She became a professor at Iasi Conservatory as a pianist and composer. Her work includes 'Fete pastoral des bergers moldaves', 'Contrabantul', 'Tiganii', 'Ballade moldave', 'Se starb, sagst tu', and 'Song of Society'.
