Darya Zvezdina is a composer, performer, and improviser. From 2011 to 2013, she studied at the Ural State Conservatory named after M.P. Mussorgsky (class of O.V. Viktorova). She is a graduate of the composition department of the Moscow State Conservatory named after P.I. Tchaikovsky (class of A.S. Syumak). She is a laureate of the Aksenov Family Foundation's "Russian Music 2.0" program and other all-Russian composer competitions. She took part in the "SOTA" workshop (Institute of Theatre of the Golden Mask Festival), in the "Imaginary Folklore" project in Nizhny Novgorod (2015), and in the "Open Space" laboratory of the "Russia" ensemble named after L. Zykina. She is a member of the art group "DeKa" (together with Kirill Shirokov and Daniil Pilchen) and Boris Yukhananov's "Golden Ass" project at the Stanislavsky Electrotheatre. She is a composer-in-residence at the Hellerau European Arts Centre (2020).
