"The velvety, rich-toned allure of Nancy Zeltsman"* has delighted audiences and made a mark on a generation of marimbists, as have Nancy Zeltman's commissioning efforts, recordings, and decades of teaching. She was inducted into the Percussive Arts Society Hall of Fame in 2022. Nancy has performed and presented master classes across the U.S. and Europe, and in Japan, China, Mexico, and Brazil and has premiered over 130 solo and chamber music compositions. Zeltsman is professor of marimba and chamber music at Boston Conservatory at Berklee, and at Berklee College of Music since 1993 and has been a Guest Artist teacher at University of Michigan since 2021. She was also guest professor of marimba at Conservatorium van Amsterdam from 2013-24. Four-Mallet Marimba Playing: A Musical Approach for All Levels is Nancy’s method book.
