Annija Anna Zarina (born 2000) is a Latvian composer currently based in New Haven, Connecticut. She is pursuing a Master of Music in Composition at the Yale School of Music, studying with David Lang. Zarina holds Bachelor's degrees in Composition from the Royal Conservatory of The Hague and the Jāzeps Vītols Latvian Academy of Music.

Her recent compositions often explore conceptual and text-based themes, with an aesthetic favoring minimalism, aiming for clarity and intention through minimal resources. Zarina's works have been performed by ensembles such as the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra and the Bang on a Can All-Stars, and featured at venues including Het Concertgebouw and Muziekgebouw Amsterdam. She has received awards including the St. Frank van der Wal Fonds award and the Nick Gotham Award. In 2024, her piece "Say only a Word" was recommended at the UNESCO "Rostrum" competition.
