Βorn in 1999 in Heraklion, Crete, Greece and based in Athens, Greece and The Hague, Netherlands, Lina Zachari is currently pursuing a MMus in Composition at the Royal Conservatoire The Hague. She has previously studied Composition at the Athens Conservatoire, where she graduated with a Diploma in Composition with Honors - First Prize & the Dimitris Dragatakis Memorial Prize. She is a founding member of the music theatre group Arte Libera, dedicated to producing and promoting original contemporary music-theatre projects free from aesthetic dogmatism. She teaches Advanced Music Theory and Composition at the Athaeneum Conservatory in Athens and is a regular member of the Greek Composers Union.
