ZABL, Susanne

Susanne Zabl, born in 1979 in Wels (Upper Austria), received instrumental lessons in clarinet, piano and Latin percussion. In 2003, she completed her conducting training with Thomas Doss and then took over as musical director of a wind orchestra. Composition lessons as well as numerous seminars with renowned composers deepened her musical knowledge and led to several of her works being selected as set pieces by the Austrian Wind Music Association and performed during international guest conducting engagements. She also composes and arranges for Symphonic Dimensions Publishing. She has also been the head of their sheet music operations since 2020.
