Ariel Witbeck (1947-) is an American composer and cello teacher based in California. She is one of the oldest members of Sigma Alpha Iota (SAI), an international music fraternity. She has been recognized by Diablo Valley
College & Holy Names University with an award named in her honor, as part of the annual Young Artist String
Competition put on by the two institutions. Other works by Witbeck are also available on YouTube.
