WISSINGER, Kath

Kath Wissinger is an American composer. She specialises in ensembles, sacred and secular pieces, jazz, Celtic, and hymns.

She founded Mosaic Handbell Ensemble in the fall of 2010 with the purpose of giving dedicated advanced ringers an opportunity to hone their skills, to share their music in many different venues and to encourage others to improve their own ringing skills. Ringer numbers range from 4 to 11 ringers, requiring us to cover many more than the usual number of bells per person. Mosaic performs a wide range of well-crafted sacred and secular repertoire using 3 to 5 octaves of handbells and up to 5 octaves of handchimes.
