Dr Taida Wiśniewska is a Polish composer. She graduated in rhythmics (1992) and composition (1998) from the Stanisław Moniuszko Academy of Music in Gdańsk. In 2019, she received a doctorate in musical arts in the artistic field of "rhythmics and dance." She currently teaches piano improvisation and piano improvisation methodology at the Academy of Music in Gdańsk and teaches rhythmics, movement technique, and piano improvisation at the State Music School Complex in Elbląg.
Her artistic output includes over 70 choreographies of music in various styles, as well as numerous piano pieces that serve as teaching material for piano rhythmics and improvisation. She has developed numerous educational materials, including: a piano improvisation program for grades 1-6 specialising in rhythmics in secondary music schools, and a program entitled " Introducing Elements of Improvisation in Piano Lessons for grades 0 and 1-6 in primary music schools. She has received numerous awards for her pedagogical and artistic work, including the Centre for Artistic Education Award in Warsaw (2019).
