Helen J. Windsor (1907-1962) was a 20th-century American composer best known for writing children's musical fantasies and operettas. Her works are accessible, short theatrical pieces designed for large casts of young performers. Her piece, 'The Adventures of Thumbelina (1953)', is a great demonstration of this.
