WILLIAMS, Mena

Originally from Miami, Florida, Composer, Writer, and Classical Pianist Mena Williams is currently studying for a Master's in Music Composition at California State University, Long Beach. Mena began learning classical piano at age 4 and composing 7 years later.

At the age of eleven, she composed her first piece courtesy of a summer camp hosted by the University of Miami. In that moment, she realised that she loved the feeling of creating and expressing herself through her own music rather than through someone else's. From that point on, a goal was set. The goal that Mena has been pursuing since the creation of her first composition is to be a composer for Films, Video Games, and Dance Companies.
