Caterina Willaert was a Renaissance composer who was active in the 16th century.
She was mentioned in 1568 by Massimo Troiano in his work "Dialoghi" in connection with the lavish royal wedding in Munich. A five-part piece she had composed was performed at the wedding banquet.
