Grete Wilens (also Greta; real name Margarethe) was a German-born Jewish composer. She came from a Jewish merchant family (originally named Wilensky, which they officially changed to Wilens in 1922) and grew up in Bielefeld, where she attended the conservatory at least between 1911 and 1920.
Her works include 'Isola Bella' (1951 for voice and piano), 'Blue Brocade' (1941 for piano and strings), and 'In Frankfurt auf der Zeil' (1921 under Gert Wilena), to name a few.
