Astrid Wiesinger studied jazz saxophone at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna with Klaus Dickbauer and Martin Fuss, at the Anton Bruckner Private University Linz with Peter Herbert and Christoph Cech, and at the Lucerne University of Music. She is part of the band "Shake Stew", "echoboomer" and the duo "Duo 4675", where she contributes her own compositional and improvisational concepts, as well as performative ideas. Otherwise, she is at home, rides her bike, occupies herself with Taketina and works in the ticket office at the Landestheater Linz.
