Dr Margaret Anne Wheat (1922-2015) was an American music professor, keyboardist, and composer. She joined the faculty at East Texas State University in 1948 and retired in 1992, teaching music theory, composition, and keyboard. Her works include 'The Eumenides' (1971) for orchestra, chorus, and electronic tape.
