WERNER, Héloïse

French-born soprano and composer Héloïse Werner is currently an Associate Artist at Wigmore Hall and is ‘quickly becoming a latter-day Cathy Berberian or Meredith Monk’ (Richard Morrison, The Times). She was a recipient of the Prix Nadia et Lili Boulanger 2025 from Académie des Beaux Arts, the PRSF Composers’ Fund 2025, and was a Visiting Research Fellow in the Creative Arts at Merton College Oxford in January-March 2026.
As a composer, Werner has written for the BBC Proms, CBSO, Aurora Orchestra, Royal Northern Sinfonia, Maîtrise de Radio France, BBC Singers, Manchester Collective, London Handel Festival, OAE, NYCBG, St Paul’s Cathedral, The Gesualdo Six, Lawrence Power, Mishka Rushdie-Momen, Helen Charlston and more.
