American organist, pianist, teacher and composer. Georgetown, MI, September 23, 1890. She obtained her B.M. from the Detroit Institute of Music in 1928 and her M.M. (organ) from the University of Michigan in 1932 and M.M. (music theory) in 1943. She studied the piano under Margaret Mannebach, John Kollen and Joseph Brinkman and the organ under Dr. Edward Manniles and Palmer Christian.
