Kate Lucy Ward (1829–1915) was a British composer, vocalist, and music teacher who published under the name Kate Lucy Ward. She studied at the Royal Academy of Music in London, where her compositions were praised by Felix Mendelssohn. Ward wrote numerous songs, choral works, and music for the stage, and was active in Britain’s nineteenth-century musical life.
