WAGNER-MOLINARI, Donna

Donna Wagner Molinari (* 1957) is an American clarinetist and active in the field of new music, jazz and improvisation music.

Molinari studied at the Peabody Conservatory of Music at Johns Hopkins University. In 1979 she came to Vienna, where she became a member of the solo ensemble for New Music Klangforum Wien and participated in numerous premieres, concerts and recordings of the ensemble. In addition to the classical clarinet training, she learned all the secondary instruments of the clarinet family and thus expanded her repertoire. Since 2005 she has been working on her own projects in Bern.
