VYLDER, Katleen De

Katleen De Vylder travelled around almost all over Flanders and the surrounding area as a concert harpist, in small halls, chapels, churches, castles, galleries, gardens, abbeys or a Centre for Fine Arts,... this as a soloist or accompanied by a violinist, cellist, bagpipe player, flutist, singer, word artist, photographer, painter, sculptor, writer.

As a 'loner' in the harp world, she likes to create something new with the things that are very important to her, such as the feeling, the music, nature, the poetry, the history.

She composed many works for harp which are bundled in beautiful score books. She has also composed music for film, including Sightless (Beyond the horizon).
