As a flutist, I engage deeply with extended techniques, sound, and improvisation.

In my work, I often combine flute sounds with field recordings—environmental recordings in which I frequently interact and improvise with the sonic material on site. My approach to this way of working embodies an ecosystemic understanding. Rather than simply bringing the "outside" indoors, I seek to engage with the ecological turn in contemporary culture, which calls for ethically grounded forms of participation that encourage us to reconsider how we perceive our relationship with the natural environment.
Alongside my sensitivity to the world of sound, my artistic practice offers a model of respectful engagement with the planet that I share with all other living beings.

During the pandemic I started to organize outdoor concerts, which now became the successful picnic concert series PARETZER FIELD MUSIC.

I have released a number of CDs, solo as well as in different formations. My article Tuning – in was published in the magazine Contemporary Music Review: Music and Landscape in March 2016. 2025 my autoethographic essay IN, MIT und FÜR die Natur was published in the book KLIMA, KLANG TRANSFORMATION, transcript Verlag.

I offer individual retreats for TUNING-IN, a practice of listening and mindfulness that I developed, as well as for SONIC PILGRIMAGE – walks through the countryside focused on listening and mindfulness. This program is aimed at professional artists as well as anyone else who feels drawn to it, to help them reconnect with their artistic and creative source through nature, listening, and perception.

I also offer improvisation workshops: TUNING-IN (TO) PRESENCE.

At the University Potsdam I have a teaching position for flute and at the HMT Rostock a teaching position for Soundpainting, a multidisciplinary sign language for realtime composition.
