VITALE, Antonella

Antonella Vitale, jazz singer and composer, studied vocal technique and jazz improvisation at the Scuola Popolare di Musica Testaccio, with Giuppi Paone. She joined the staff as a vocalist of the Big Band directed by Danilo Terenzi and Marco Tiso. She studied classical piano and jazz and has sung in various formations with Lorenzo Tucci, Nicola Stilo, Fabrizio Bosso, Nicola Angelucci, Andrea Beneventano, Luca Bulgarelli, Pietro Ciancaglini, Gianluca Renzi, Francesco Puglisi, Nunzio Rotondo, Aldo Bassi, Marco Siniscalco, Marcello di Leonardo, Stefano Sabatini, Antonello Vannucchi, Karl Potter, Claudio Colasazza, and many others.

She collaborates as a vocalist in the creation of the music for the short film "COUS COUS" written and directed by Pino di Persio in competition at: Reggio film Festival, Mediart Pantelleria, Mediart International. She is co-author and solo voice in the music made for the short film "POCO PIÙ DI DUE PASSI" written and directed by the director-actor Pino di Persio, winner in 2007 of the Cortocircuito Livorno jury prize and in competition at the Ecovision Festival Internazionale Palermo, the Festival Internazionale Trevignano and the San Paulo international short film festival. Out of competition at Ischia film Festival. She is the solo voice and co-author of the texts in the short film "ZENZERO" directed by Pino di Persio and as a leading actor Giorgio Colangeli, winner of the Rome film festival as best actor in the film "Aria salata".

She participates as a special guest in the realization of the live CD of Massimiliano Coclite recorded at the "PALMA" in Rome for the label AUDIORECORDS" accompanied by Marcello di Leonardo, Luca Bulgarelli, Fabrizio Bosso, Fabrizio Mandolini, Bruno Marcozzi.
