VISO, Margarita Soto

Composer, pianist, musicologist and teacher. She carried out her studies at A Coruña Professional Music and Declamation Conservatory: piano with Jeannette Romero, harmony and counterpoint with Roger Groba. Broadened her knowledge with M ª Luisa Nache (sing) Jose Ferrer (horn), Carlos López García Peaks (composition), Eva Palace, Edith Picht-Axenfeld and Noemí Novara (piano).She worked as pianist and dance accompanist. She has performed accompanying different instrumentalists. Her activity in this field focuses mainly in the repertoire of Spanish and Galician music. As a musicologist she has investigated mainly Galician composers, notably her work on Marcial del Adalid.
