Manuela Villiger is a Swiss saxophonist and composer based in Olten, Switzerland. Trained as a classical saxophone player, her work focuses mainly on the performance of contemporary music and the creation of interdisciplinary performance projects.

Her work extends beyond instrumental compositions to include performative and installative pieces incorporating multimedia. She integrates performative, acoustic, and digital elements, working intensively with live electronics and visuals. An important element of her composition work is the inclusion of live data generated by physical sensors.

Villiger regularly collaborates with international composers and actively participates in various festivals. She is a member of the artistic groups eventuell., Ensemble Sargo, Bold?, and BlasArt. In 2016, she received a cultural prize awarded by the canton of Solothurn.
