Comtesse De Vidampierre (1718-1778) was a writer and composer. She was the niece of the Marquise du Chastelet. In 1777, she published "Mélanges de poésie et de prose". She is known for 3 songs that appeared in Mercure de France in 1771 and 1772: “Le baiser”, “L’heureuse securité”, and “Le regret” which are in the archives of RISM (Répertoire International des Sources Musicales).
