TURNER, Leigha

Leigha Turner is a composer, arranger, saxophonist, and music educator from Greenville, South Carolina. Her ultimate stated objective in her career as an educator and musician is to share the joy and power of music with all.

As a composer and arranger, Turner has completed a variety of projects across different performance mediums. Her list of recent projects features instrumental compositions, including *Contours*, a work written for alto saxophone and piano, as well as *Weightless*, a piece written for solo piano.

In addition to her instrumental compositions for piano and saxophone, Turner's recent portfolio includes work in film. She contributed to *Big Custard*, a feature film created by Dominic Lindia. Another recent project listed among her musical works is titled *Ionic*, which is a piece from *Rotunda*. Through these roles as an educator, saxophonist, arranger, and composer, Turner continues her work in music.
