Ulrike Trüstedt was born in Allgäu, Germany. Before she became a composer she first studied painting, later philosophy and art education. She composes live electronic music, musique concrète, performance art, and sound installations. Since 1990 she does the conception and organization of the Pfingstsymposium in Munich.
