TEIKARI, Anne

Anne Teikari is a Finnish film composer based in the Netherlands. Formerly a musicologist and music journalist in Finland, she has pursued a career in film composition in the Netherlands since 2021, creating character-driven scores shaped by the emotional worlds of film narratives. In 2024, she received the New Talent Award at the Buma Music in Media Awards for her score to the documentary Black Joy, and her music for Pocket Change was nominated for Best Soundtrack at the 2025 Shortcutz Amsterdam Annual Awards. Alongside film scoring, Teikari creates “invisible films,” a storytelling concept combining music and writing.
