Lovisa Ramstedt Tegengren (1796–1858) was a Finnish-Swedish amateur composer and musician from Vaasa, Finland. The eldest daughter of organist Johan Ramstedt, she grew up in a musically active household and was part of Vaasa’s early nineteenth-century musical culture. Her only currently known surviving composition is a quadrille for piano, probably written in her youth and intended for the social music-making and dancing common in contemporary domestic circles. Tegengren is among the early women composers documented in Sävelten tyttäret, a study of women’s composition and musical life in nineteenth-century Finland.
