Guoste Tamulynaite (born May 4, 1992) is a Lithuanian composer and keyboardist based in Oslo, Norway. Classically trained as a pianist, she earned bachelor's and master's degrees in piano performance from the Norwegian Academy of Music (NMH) before pursuing further studies in composition. Her work combines acoustic and electronic sound with visual and theatrical elements, often incorporating everyday objects, textiles, costumes, and scenography. Tamulynaite describes her compositional interests as including repetition, banality, sentimentality, untuned sounds, and the transformation of everyday sounds into abstract musical material, resulting in a style she characterizes as “calmly maximalistic and surrealistic.” Her music has been presented at festivals and venues including Borealis, Kongsberg Jazzfestival, Vossajazz, and CODA Oslo International Dance Festival. Active in Norway's contemporary music community, she has served as chair of nyMusikks komponistgruppe, curator for Nordic Music Days, and, since 2025, vice-chair of the Norwegian Society of Composers.
