TAL, Yaara

Yaara Tal is an Israeli pianist, composer, and educator. She studied piano with Arie Vardi and composition with Abel Ehrlich and André Hajdu at the Rubin Music Academy in Tel Aviv before continuing her piano studies in Munich. Since the early 1990s, she has been best known as a member of the internationally acclaimed piano duo Tal & Groethuysen with Andreas Groethuysen, with whom she has performed and recorded extensively. Tal has also maintained a significant teaching career, including appointments supervising piano duo studies at the University of Music and Theatre Munich and the Mozarteum University Salzburg.
