Graduated from the George Enescu Music High School and then from the Ciprian Porumbescu Conservatoire, specialising in composition and musicology, in 1988. She worked as a music teacher in Bucharest until 1992, when she settled in Switzerland. In Switzerland, she is a music teacher (founder of the Romanian piano school in Delémont, in the canton of Jura), a composer and the conductor of three choirs. She gives numerous organ and piano recitals in Switzerland, France, Italy and now in Romania. In March 2014, she was invited to Bucharest as chair of the jury for the national piano competition ‘The Joys of Music’. Her compositions feature in the repertoire of many ensembles performing symphonic, chamber and choral music.
