Notes:

Violinist, music teacher and composer, neé Stresow (married with the composer Philipp Sharwenka). She started her musical studies in Berlin, and attended classes with many leading figures of the violin: Leopold Ganz, Heinrich de Ahna, Pablo Sarasate and Martin Mahrsick. She taught violin and viola at the Klindworth-Scharwenka-Konservatorium. She performed as a solosit but also in chamber music, forming her Sharwenka Trio with the pianist Agda Lysell and the cellist Josephine Donat.
