Josefine Rottensteiner was a music teacher, conductor and composer born in Potsdam. She was an organist, conductor of a women's orchestra, and from 1943 to 1945 she directed the Ternitz music school in Ternitz. She composed numerous songs. Her works were performed by various orchestras and singing associations.
