Rose (born Keren Meloul in Nice, France) is a popular French singer-songwriter and composer. Taking her stage name from the 1979 film The Rose, she transitioned from law and teaching to music, releasing her platinum-selling, self-titled debut album in 2006 featuring hits like "La Liste". She has also composed and written songs for other prominent French performers (such as Jenifer) and participated in charity and tribute records.
