RØMER, Hanne

Hanne Rømer is a composer, arranger, conductor and multi instrumentalist: singer, saxophone player, guitarist and pianist and also writer.
Education: The Royal Danish academy of Music, The Music Science Department at the University of Copenhagen, the CAP-Program (Composing and Arranging Program) at the Dick Grove School of Music in Los Angeles.

Hanne has worked as a teacher at music schools, colleges and conservatories – she composes music for choir, big band, symphony orchestra and various ensembles. Hanne was a part of the teaching team at Hoptrup Efterskole from August 2006- 2018. She also taught English and German in primary school. Since 2015 she has attended different writing courses to pursue a late career as a novelist as well as a writer of poems.
