REILLY, Frankie Dyson

Frankie Dyson Reilly is a Meanjin (Brisbane)-based interdisciplinary artist, composer, and researcher. Her work often explores the connection between humans and the natural world, with a particular focus on native birds and Australian landscapes. Reilly's research into multimedia graphic scoring, specifically the use of color in music notation, formed the basis of her Doctor of Musical Arts at Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University. This integration of visual and sonic arts has led to artist residencies at locations such as the Mt. Wilson Old School and the Piano Mill, as well as collaborations with the Dots + Loops performance collective.
