RAHN, Flicka

Flicka Rahn is a vocalist, composer, author, and sound healer. A former associate professor of music at Texas A&M University–Corpus Christi, she has also taught at Brandeis University, the Boston Conservatory, and the University of the Incarnate Word. As a Fulbright Scholar, Rahn spent over ten years mentoring vocalists in Queretaro, Mexico.
Throughout her operatic career, Rahn performed major roles across the United States and internationally, including appearances at Carnegie Hall and Boston Symphony Hall, as well as performances in Mexico, Bolivia, and Spain.

Since 2015, Rahn has focused on sound therapy and energy healing. She co-founded the Transcendence Project and The Icaros, a sound healing music collective known for albums such as "Chakra Soundscapes", "Hymns to Gaia", and "Ascension". Now in her 80s, Rahn continues to teach, perform, and lead guided sound meditations from her horse farm in rural Texas. Through Flicka Rahn Enterprises, she provides sound therapy, corporate wellness functions, guided experiences, and wellness retreats.
