Marie-Christine Raboud-Theurillat was born into a family of musicians in the small town of Monthey (Valais, Switzerland). Very early in life she was introduced to the piano and the violin. Her catalogue consist of pieces of chamber, choir and church music. Several pieces were played for the first time in Switzerland and abroad, such as her oratorio Genese op 35. In addition to composing music, Marie-Christine Raboud-Theurillat serves as the organist of the parish of Monthey and teaches piano and organ at the academy of music in Sion.
