Maria Quell (born Pezellen, also known by her pseudonyms Lycka and Mia Quell) was an Austrian songwriter and composer. Born in Vienna on November 14, 1906, she lived and worked there until her death on August 19, 1964. While she may not have been a globally renowned classical icon, she was a dedicated local musical figure who worked as a lyricist and composer in Vienna, often collaborating with well-known local artists and conductors such as Kapellmeister Babinski.
