Notes:

Sabine E. Panzer (born 26 January 1960 in Judenburg , Styria ) is an Austrian composer. The concepts of "absence" and "movement" define the composer's musical thinking. In 2001, she coined the term centroAssente – absent center – for her music , thus designating the reference point within a musical work that never appears acoustically. Panzer develops expressive, intervallic modal structures and works coherently with her so-called non-time areas and non-space areas, as well as with sound intrinsic qualities (sound-inherent movement – the threshold from sound to noise/sound to silence). The interplay with the functionality and characteristics of interval and microinterval relationships forms an essential building block of her musical language. Sabine Panzer utilizes her specific fermata areas to manage complex temporal structures.
