Mary O'Hara (1885–1980) was an American composer, pianist, author, and screenwriter whose musical works include the folk musical *The Catch Colt* and several piano compositions inspired by the landscapes and ranch life of Wyoming. Although best known for her novel *My Friend Flicka*, she regarded music as a central part of her artistic work, combining composition, performance, and writing throughout her career.
