Maria Mercè Navarro i Galindo is a Catalan composer and flabiol player born in Badalona. She studied music theory at the Municipal School of Music and later studied flabiol and tamborí at the Conservatory of Music in Barcelona. She founded the Cobla Juvenil Marinada de Badalona and has performed with several traditional Catalan ensembles, including Cobla Contemporània de Sabadell and Cobla Baix Llobregat. She has composed around forty sardanas and has received several awards for her works, including first prize at the Prats de Molló–La Presta Sardana Competition in 2019.
