Born in 1969 in Niigata, in north-west Japan, Manami N. developed her musical interest when she played trumpet and later trombone in school bands. While working as a computer instructor, she performed with various jazz oriented pop bands and began experimenting with musical software. Today, Manami N's music is rooted in over a decade of hands-on experience as an electronic music performer.
